HURRICANE AND IMPACT RESISTANCE

Tiltco offers a full suite of impact tested products for hurricane-prone regions across the United States and the Caribbean.

Unlike standard doors and windows that do not meet impact test requirements, our products do not require shutters or boards to be placed in the event of a storm or hurricane.

Instead, Tiltco combines its unique European engineering with laminate glazing - two panes of glass that are bonded together with a transparent plastic PVB interlayer - to limit or prevent entry. This forms one half of Tiltco's double-glazed unit with an airspace that is sealed with a thermal edge spacer bar for increased energy efficiency.

In addition, our products meet and in some cases, exceed the most stringent hurricane codes in forced today.
